Do I need an account to use KetoSnap AI?
No. KetoSnap AI works without an account. You do not sign up, log in, or give us your email, name, or a password. The app creates an anonymous identity on your device automatically. You can optionally add a display name in your Profile, but it is not required.
How does food scanning work?
Open the camera, point it at a meal or food item, and take a photo. Our AI estimates whether it is keto-friendly and gives you a keto score and macros (carbs, protein, fat, and calories). For packaged products, you can scan the barcode to look up nutrition.
What is free, and what needs Premium?
Every new user gets 2 free AI food scans (lifetime). After that, scanning and AI recipe generation require KetoSnap AI Premium. Premium is USD 5.99 per month or USD 59.99 per year (prices may vary by region and store) and may include a 3-day free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel them in your account settings: on iOS, open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions; on Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open the app and use Restore Purchases. Your active subscription is tied to your Apple or Google account, so it will be restored once you are signed in to the same store account you purchased with.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Profile, then tap Delete Account & Data and confirm. This permanently removes your photos, scans, keto results, pantry, recipes, and preferences.
Are the keto scores and macros medical advice?
No. KetoSnap AI provides AI-generated estimates for informational purposes only. They can be inaccurate and are not medical or nutritional advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary decisions.
